ABVP organises district-level general knowledge contest

Shimla, February 18

Students of Crescent Senior Secondary School, Totu, secured first and second position in the district-level Swami Vivekananda General Knowledge Competition organised by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Hitesh Sharma and Simran Sharma, students of class XII, secured the first and second position, respectively, while Suraj Sharma (class XI) from Government Senior Secondary School, Koti, secured the third position.

The winners of the competition were felicitated in a district-level prize distribution ceremony organised by ABVP here on Saturday. The students who bagged the first, second and third position in the district were given a cash prize of Rs 11,000, Rs 7,100 and Rs 5,100, respectively.

District head Jeevan Jyoti said that ABVP had organised district-level Swami Vivekananda General Knowledge Competition on October 5, 2023. Around 3,486 students from about 57 schools in Shimla had registered and a total of 2,103 students had participated in the competition.
