Rasham Singh, an accused in a Narcotics Drugs and Psychotic Substances (NDPS) Act case, fled from the court after he was remanded to judicial custody.
The 23‑year‑old, released on bail by the high court, appeared before the local trial court today to surrender, after having missed several previous hearing dates.

He hails from Kotdhar village in Shimla. A search has been initiated to nab him, informed Solan SP Gaurav Singh.
The Dharampur police had recovered 22.48g heroin from him on May 23, 2020, following which he was booked under Section 21, 29 of the NDPS Act.
