Adani Agri Fresh announces apple procurement rates

Adani Agri Fresh has announced its apple procurement rates for this season. The rates range from Rs 20 per kg to Rs 85 per kg. Regular procurement will start from Monday.

In the premium category, which has 80 to 100 per cent colour, the rate ranges from Rs 45 per kg to Rs 85 per kg. While pittu will be bought for Rs 45 per kg, the rate for large, medium and small apple has been fixed at Rs 85 per kg.

In the supreme category, which has 60 to 80 per cent colour, pittu will be bought for Rs 35 per kg, while the rate for large, medium and small apple has been fixed at Rs 65 per kg.

As per an Adani Agri Fresh official, the opening rates announced this time are higher than the previous year. The group keeps revising the rates after one or two weeks throughout the season.

The under-sized apple will be bought for Rs 20 per kg.
