The number of students of elementary grades (classes I to VIII) of government schools, participating in WhatsApp-based weekly assessment module in the form of a quiz organised under the ‘Har Ghar Pathshala’ programme of the state Education Department, has increased from 40,000 to 2,25,000 in three months. The quiz for classes IX to XII, launched on September 26, recorded a participation of over 90,000 students in the first week itself, said a spokesperson of the department. He further said that the Artificial Intelligence-enabled quiz chatbot, developed by the Convegenius, asks learning-outcome based multiple choice questions from students. Students are tested on two subjects every week on the syllabus covered in the previous week.
