The orders passed by the regulator imply that the universities, namely Manav Bharti University, Indus International University, Arni University and AP Goyal Shimla University, would not be permitted to hold admissions for 2020-21 session. An FIR was registered against Manav Bharti University, Solan, over “fake” degrees. Another FIR was registered against Indus International University for forgery, while Arni University is in the dock over staff salaries. — TNS
