Brothers Kamlesh and Rajneesh, residents of Gwali village in Shillai constituency, had been missing since Tuesday when they, along with their friend Amit, were swept away by the strong currents of the Yamuna near Paonta Sahib. While Amit’s body surfaced on September 24 in Haryana’s Kalesar area, nearly 10 km from the site, the brothers’ whereabouts remained uncertain, leaving their families torn between despair and fragile hope.

Kamlesh’s body was discovered in Haryana’s Yamunanagar region, while Rajneesh’s was found near the Hathnikund Barrage.
