Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has left for Shimla on a five-day trip with family. He intends to celebrate the silver jubilee anniversary of his wedding that falls on August 28.
Initially, the family had proposed a trip to London and Paris, but that had to be dropped because of the prevailing Covid-19 situation.
Sources in the Chief Minister’s Office said that he travelled by a special flight to Chandigarh, from where the family flew by helicopter to Shimla. He is expected to return on August 30.
The 49-year-old Chief Minister married Bharathi Reddy in 1996, and have two children.
