Anil Kumar Sharma has been unanimously elected as the new president of the Nalagarh Industries Association during a meeting held at Nalagarh to discuss the association’s upcoming agenda.
The meeting, chaired by interim president Sanjeev Arora, focused on strengthening the organisational structure and improving coordination among members. During the session, the proposal to appoint Anil Kumar Sharma as president was moved by association’s vice-president VK Joshi and received unanimous support from all present.
After his election, Sharma expressed gratitude to the members for their trust and acknowledged the contributions of former president Archana Tyagi. Addressing the gathering, he called for unity and collective effort to strengthen the association and safeguard the interests of the industrial community. He assured that the association would continue to highlight key industry concerns with the government as a priority.
Sharma emphasised that issues related to infrastructure development, poor road conditions, power tariff, link roads, street lights and challenges arising on the National Highway would be taken up promptly. He reiterated the association’s commitment to ensuring faster and sustainable industrial growth in the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh region.
Associated with the association since its inception, Sharma brings over two decades of versatile experience to his new role. The meeting was attended by Sanjeev Aggarwal, Vinod Aggarwal, VK Joshi, Kuldeep Rana, Rajesh Thakur, BS Thakur, Naval Sharma, Vinay Singh, Ravee Nirankari, Sanjay Patial, Sunil Tanwar, JS Salaria and several other members of the association.
