Another body fished out of Beas river
Hamirpur, April 14
The body of Dalbahadur Shahi was fished out of the Beas here today. Vimal Rampali (20) and Dalbahadur Shahi (21), who worked at the Dhaulasidh power project here, were drowned in the river on April 11. An NDRF team had launched a rescue operation.
In another incident, Vishal Kumar reportedly drowned in the Kunah stream at nearby Rangas village. He along with his friends had gone to the stream to have a bath. Villagers brought him out of the river and took him to a hospital at Nadaun, but he could not survive.
The body had been sent for a postmortem. A case had been registered. —
