The Rotary Club Chhoti Kashi, Mandi, celebrated the appointment of their new president, Professor Anupama Singh, at a ceremony held yesterday at a local hotel. Raminder Kaur was appointed as the club secretary on the occasion for the term 2024-25.

For the term 2025-26, District Governor-elect Rohit Oberoi was the chief guest and installation officer, while Assistant Governor Ram Pal Gupta was a distinguished guest. Among the special guests present were Rotarians Praveen Agarwal, Tilak Nayak, and Dharmender Rana.

Singh and her team pledged their commitment to societal welfare, health, education, and environmental initiatives. Expressing gratitude for her election, Professor Singh highlighted her dedication to advancing educational projects and urged all members’ support in enhancing the club’s impact across various social sectors.

“This year’s theme ‘Magic of Rotary’ aims to create transformative impacts in the next twelve months,” Singh remarked. She emphasised the importance of using online tools like ‘Club Central’ to monitor and achieve their goals, urging all Rotarians to stay connected through ‘My Rotary.’
