APG students observe Forensic Science Day

About 50 students of the Department of Forensic Science, APG Shimla University, celebrated Forensic Science Day with a series of engaging activities, including crime scene investigation, a fingerprinting booth, a forensic selfie booth and a poster-making competition. The event was marked by enthusiasm and strong academic spirit.

Organised around the theme “FORENSCAPE: Exploring the Hidden Truths”, the programme highlighted the vital role of forensic science in uncovering facts and delivering justice. Students gained hands-on exposure while creatively applying their theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

The event was coordinated by faculty members Dr Atul Kumar Dubey, Prakriti Kaul, Chandrika Sharma and Kapil Verma, ensuring its smooth conduct. “The celebration was a perfect blend of learning and creativity, inspiring students to delve deeper into the fascinating world of forensic science and its role in revealing hidden truths,” said Dr Dubey.
