Shimla, July 7

Apple control rooms will start functioning at Fagu, Shoghi, Kharapathar, Narkanda, Balag and Kuddu from July 15.

Announcing this while heading a meeting for making arrangement for hassle-free apple season, Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj directed the district administration to ensure that the PWD kept the national highways and link roads well maintained to facilitate timely transportation of the fruit to the market yards.
