APS-Dagshai students meet President on Children’s Day

Four students of Army Public School, Dagshai, accompanied by two teachers, got the rare opportunity of meeting the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, on the occasion of Children’s Day yesterday.

The meeting, albeit brief, has left a lasting impression of compassion on the students. She asked them to sing the popular song “Saare Jahan Se Acha” which they merrily sung.

The President also asked about their aims in life. Aadrit, a Class V student, expressed his desire to become a fighter pilot, while Samaira Gautam, from Class IX, was keen on joining the Armed Forces.

This opportunity served as a moment of immense pride for the entire APS community, as the students represented the school with confidence, discipline and excellence.
