The Indian Army has announced the opening of online applications for the recruitment of youths from Shimla, Solan, Sirmour and Kinnaur districts under the Agniveer scheme for the year 2025-26. The registration process will remain open until April 10.

Col Pushvinder Kaur, Recruitment Director at the Army Recruitment Office, Shimla, confirmed that the online registration for the Agniveer Scheme began on March 12. All eligible candidates are required to register through the official Indian Army website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Col Kaur also stated that the eligibility criteria and terms for participation in the Agnipath scheme are available on the website. “Candidates can register for two trades under the recruitment for the year 2025-26,” she added.

The Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman and Agniveer Technical online exams will be conducted at various centres. Additional details about exam centres will be available on the official website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
