133 Eco Task Force of the Army on Sunday organised a mega plantation drive at the Rashtriya Military School (RMS) in Chail, as part of the school’s ongoing centenary celebrations. The drive was organised under the national ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative.

General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), planted a sapling, underscoring the Army’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable community development. “This initiative, in partnership with the 133 Eco Task Force and the students of RMS, Chail, symbolises our collective responsibility towards a greener and more resilient Himachal Pradesh,” he said.

The 133 Eco Task Force, known for its significant afforestation efforts and disaster management support across the state, actively engaged students, faculty, and local dignitaries in the drive.
