Palampur January 28
An Army Skill Training Centre was inaugurated by Rajlaxmi Shekhawat, convener, Family Welfare Organisation, at the Palampur Military Station.
An Army spokesperson said the centre had been set up by the Dah Division. At the Army Skill Training Centre in Palampur, training under the PMKVY scheme will be provided and all trainees will be given certificates by the National Skill Development Council, which will help them get jobs.

The centre will offer two courses — self-employed tailor and assistant beauty therapist. The PMKVY is a government scheme. — OC
