The recipients were selected based on a survey conducted by ALIMCO, ensuring that the devices were tailored to their specific needs.

The DC said, in line with state government guidelines, special camps were being organised in all subdivisions to provide necessary devices to differently abled persons.

He thanked ALIMCO and IDBI Bank, Mandi, for their support in facilitating the distribution. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to empowering the differently abled and integrating them into the mainstream by providing them with assistive devices and artificial limbs to lead a normal life.

District Welfare Officer Samir talked about various welfare schemes being implemented by the state government through the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment for the benefit of differently abled individuals, and others.

ALIMCO artificial limb expert Puneet Dhar Dubey, IDBI Bank Assistant General Manager Nitin Agarwal and family members of the recipients were among those present at the event.
