“Being a Sanatani and a Hindu, who has faith in Dev Samaj, I consider this my duty and responsibility to remain present at Ayodhya on this historic day. This is not a political issue but a matter of religion for me and my family,” he said. He added that his father has also made monetary contribution from his personal account for this cause.

“My father till his last breath was a supporter of the Ram movement. He always worked towards protecting the Dev Samaj and activities associated with it,” elaborated. Vikramaditya has taken a stand in sharp contrast to the Congress party’s stand.

“I consider myself fortunate that I am one of the few people in Himachal who have been invited to be witness this historic event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present,” said Vikramaditya Singh. He said people of Himachal have immense faith and belief in deities.

“I am grateful to RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad who have given this honour to me and my family,” he added.
