A Russian, Sergei Novikov, now an Israeli citizen has married Elona Bramoka, a Ukrainian citizen, in Dharamsala.

The marriage has created quite a buzz on social media as Russia and Ukraine continue to be at war.

The couple took got married as per Hindu rituals.

The marriage was solemnised with Hindu rituals at Divya Ashram in Dharamsala.

To make the couple feel at home locals participated in the marriage ceremony and also performed celebratory dance.

Kangri Dham, the traditional fare of Kangra, was cooked and served to the guests at the marriage. The couple was in a relation since last two years and decided to solemnise their marriage despite the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

The couple had been staying in Dharamkot area of Dharamsala that is famous among Israeli tourists and also known as ‘little Israel’. There was a Chabad house in Dharamkot where many Israeli couples come and solemnise their marriages.

The marriage of Segei Novikov and Elona Bramoka trended on internet as native their countries are at war.
