Himachal athletes continued their good showing on the third day of the Khelo India Winter Games in Gulmarg. The athletes bagged a gold and silver in snowboard slalom event for women, and a bronze medal in the men's relay race. While Preeti Thakur clinched gold in snowboard slalom event, Prakarti Thakur own silver. In the men's relay race, the team comprising Tenzin Bodh, Sahil Thakur, Garvit Thakur, and Siddharth Negi won earned a third-place finish. “I am incredibly proud of the boys’ achievement,” said Boney Sharma, the coach of the team. “This bronze medal is a significant boost to the team's morale and will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and popularity of the event in our state,” he said.
