Young sharpshooters from Auckland House School Boys, Shimla, delivered a stellar performance at the CISCE Zonal Shooting Championship, bagging top honours and qualifying for the regional rounds.
Ananjay Singh secured 1st place in the Under-14 Pistol category, Rudra Singh Kanwar topped the Under-17 Pistol category, while Arhaan Rohta claimed 1st place and Harashish took 3rd in the Under-14 Rifle category. Their impressive display of precision and discipline earned all four shooters a place in the upcoming CISCE Regional Shooting Championship.
Principal Reuben T John expressed pride in the boys’ achievements, stating that their hard work and commitment brought laurels to the school. The management and staff congratulated the young athletes and wished them continued success.
In another pioneering step, AHS Boys also experienced a transformative educational initiative through Klip VR Experiences. A total of 132 students participated in 10 immersive sessions that transported them to the moon, deep under the ocean, and inside the human body — all through virtual reality.
“These sessions were not just educational, but deeply inspiring,” said Principal Reuben T John. “As India’s leading integrated VR education platform, Klip VR brings learning alive in a truly interactive and visual way.”
The sessions were facilitated by Nitin Gupta and Hafiz Mohd Mugheerah, supported by seven volunteers and one IT administrator, ensuring smooth execution and personalised attention. The initiative marks a significant shift toward integrating technology with traditional learning methods, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a futuristic outlook among students. Auckland House School Boys continues to lead the way in both academic innovation and co-curricular excellence.
