Students of Auckland House School (AHS), Shimla, delivered a stellar performance in the ‘CISCE Himachal Pradesh Zone Inter-School Chess Championship-2025’, with students of both AHS for boys and girls securing the first position in different categories of the tournament.

The championship, hosted by AHS, witnessed participation of Sacred Heart High School at Sidhpur in Dharamshala, along with AHS for boys and girls.

In boys’ category, students of AHS won all the three categories — under 14, under 17 and under 19. Similarly, in girls’ category, student of AHS secured the first position in both under-14 and under-17 matches.

With this outstanding display of strategy and skills, both Auckland boys’ and girls’ teams have qualified for the CISCE north zone chess championship.
