Auction of liquor vends begins in Chamba
The Himachal Pradesh Excise and Taxation Department began the process of auctioning liquor vends in Chamba district on Wednesday. A total of 16 excise units have been formed, with a reserved price of Rs 104,46,58,960, marking a 1.42 per cent increase compared to the previous financial year.
The interested individuals and firms submitted their bid application today. The bids will be opened on Thursday at Bachat Bhawan, Chamba, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba district.
According to the State Tax and Excise Department, the Bharmaur excise unit has been priced at Rs 10,78,90,179, with a tender fee of Rs 2,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 21,57,804. The Khajjiar unit is valued at Rs 6,42,15,023, with a tender fee of Rs 1,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 12,84,300. The Udaipur unit has been set at Rs 5,43,96,119, requiring a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 10,87,922. The Chamba unit is priced at Rs 10,29,79,118, with a tender fee of Rs 2,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 20,59,582. Similarly, the Sahu unit has been valued at Rs 4,52,00,068, with a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 9,04,001. The Dharyali unit will be available for Rs 6,55,62,450, with a tender fee of Rs 1,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 13,11,249.
The Luna unit is priced at Rs 5,52,39,296, with a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 11,04,785, while the Dalhousie unit is set at ?8,68,39,352, requiring a tender fee of ?2,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 17,36,787. The Goli unit has been listed at Rs 4,46,32,313, with a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 8,92,646. The Banikhet unit is priced at Rs 5,98,49,830, requiring a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 11,96,997. The Chowari unit has been valued at Rs 8,93,44,769, with a tender fee of Rs 2,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 17,86,895. The Hatli unit will be available for Rs 3,16,59,910, requiring a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 6,33,198.
Additionally, the Sihunta unit is priced at Rs 6,50,38,204, with a tender fee of Rs 1,00,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 13,00,764. The Tisa unit is set at Rs 5,54,44,453, with a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 11,08,889. The Sundla unit is valued at Rs 5,64,79,783, requiring a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 11,29,596. The Salooni unit has been priced at Rs 5,98,88,120, with a tender fee of Rs 50,000 and an advance deposit of Rs 11,97,762.
