Auditions for Kangra Valley Carnival from Sept 17 to 26

Additional Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Jassal, in a press release issued here today, said auditions for the Kangra Valley Carnival — set to be held in Dharamsala from September 21 to October 6 — would be held from September 17 to 26 at the DRDA office in Dharamsala.

Local artistes wishing to participate in the cultural programmes during the carnival could appear for the auditions on these dates, he added. He said applicants could come for auditions between 11 am and 1 pm on any working day during the aforementioned dates.

A screening committee had been constituted by the district administration for the cultural programmes, he added. He said the DRDA Project Officer had been nominated as the chairman of the committee, while the District Language Officer was named the member secretary.
