Aug 30 last date to apply for pre-matric scholarships

For the post-matric scholarship scheme, the deadline is October 31

A spokesperson of the Higher Education Department, in a communiqué issued here on Saturday, said the process of submitting online scholarship application forms, under the Centrally and state-sponsored pre and post-matric scholarship scheme for 2025-26, on the National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in) began on June 17.

“The last date for submission of applications for pre-matric scholarship is August 30. For the post-matric scholarship scheme, the last date is October 31,” the spokesperson said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
