Hamirpur, January 22

Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said the Ram Mandir pran pratishtha ceremony was a milestone in the Indian history, which would imbibe the teachings of the Sanatan culture in future generations. He was addressing a gathering during a function organised to celebrate the occasion at his residence in Sameerpur near here. He said the glorious event had opend the eyes of many people who questioned the existence of Lord Rama in the past.

Dhumal said the celebration was a stepping stone to ‘Ram Rajya’ in the country. He said the construction of the majestic Ram Mandir at Ayodhya was the outcome of the sacrifice made by hundreds of people who devoted and those lost their lives their life for this cause.

His wife Sheela Dhumal wife organised a community meal and ‘bhajan’ for people of the area at their residence on the occasion.
