Various organisations such as CITU, Kisan Sabha, Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and the SFI came out in support of farmers protesting for the withdrawal of three farm laws. Labourers, farmers, students and youths affiliated with these organisations staged protests at district and block headquarters in the state.

Various leaders condemned the Central Government for its approach towards the agitating farmers. They alleged that it was clear that the Central Government wanted to suppress the voice of farmers to give benefit to corporate houses and encourage practices such as hoarding and black marketeering.

They said that the agriculture sector was passing through a tough phase but the government, instead of helping it, seemed determined to destroy farmers. Under such circumstances, farmers, labourers, women, students and youths need to put up a strong fight to defeat the corporate-friendly policies of the government, they added.
