The Baddi police today secured the custody of Punjab gangster Gagandeep Lahoria, alias Gaggi, the main accused of the September 22 firing case in Nalagarh subdivision.

SP Rohit Malpani said Lahoria was brought on production warrant from the Sangrur jail today and his police remand had been secured. He would be interrogated about the shooting in which he had fired upon a scrap dealer’s shop at Rajpura village in Nalagarh.

The Punjab Police had arrested Lahoria earlier this month in a car snatching case. The local police had registered a case under the Arms Act against him for attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy and unauthorised use of arms.

The police had already arrested his four accomplices — three from Anandpur Sahib in Punjab, and a local in this case.
