Solan, June 2
The Nalagarh police will soon begin proceedings to attach properties of the four accused, who are on the run after the May 24 shootout on the Baddi-Nalagarh highway at Khera village that had left one dead and three injured.
Baddi SP Rohit Malpani said that the Nalagarh police would begin proceedings under Section 83 of the CrPC and apply in court to seize their immovable and movable properties.
Out of the four accused, three are from villages in Baddi — Balbir, alias Ballu, of Makhnu Majra village, Rakesh of Banbirpur village and Jagpal of Theda village — while the fourth Ajay, alias Sunny, hails from Umri village in Kurukshetra. The police had arrested eight youths in the case earlier. — TNS
