RS Bali announces Rs 5L for fair ground at Gharot

Tourism Development Corporation chairman RS Bali today announced Rs 5 lakh for the fair ground at Gharot during ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme organised at Gharot panchayat of the Nachan Assembly constituency of Mandi district.

He also announced Rs 3 lakh for paving the footpath in Gharot village. Apart from this, to upgrade the Gharot link road, he asked the panchayat authorities to hand over this road to the Public Works Department. On the demand of the people, he instructed the Block Medical Officer to organise an eye operation camp at Gharot panchayat. He announced to provide five solar lights for each panchayat of the Nachan Assembly constituency. He said these solar lights would be installed in those panchayats in Nachan, which do not have solar lights.

Bali said his office would monitor the action on every demand of the people raised in the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme at Gharot panchayat today. He instructed the Deputy Commissioner to write a letter to every applicant regarding the status of application and inform them about the action taken on it. He also shared his mobile number with the people so that they could contact him directly regarding the action taken on the demands.
