Better facilities needed for tourists at Jot: Speaker

Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania yesterday visited Jot, a popular tourist destination in Chamba, and inspected tourism facilities available for visitors there. He issued directives for necessary improvement in the facilities.

He also chaired a meeting with district officials and representatives of various departments. The meeting focused on promoting tourism activities, strengthening basic infrastructure and reviewing measures undertaken to enhance visitors’ convenience.

Pathania said that as Jot was attracting an increasing number of tourists due to its natural beauty, it was necessay to upgrade amenities. He instructed the departments to prioritise the provision of essential services.
