The famous shrine of Bhadrakali Bhalei Mata in Bhalei sub-tehsil of Chamba district, which is visited by a large number of devotees, has been reopened.

The temples were closed for public worship in March when the lockdown was imposed to control the spread of Covid-19 infection in the state.

Kamal Thakur, Chairman, Bhadrakali Bhalei Mata Temple Managing Committee, today said a two-day mela concluded on the temple premises on Saturday with a less gathering, in compliance with the government guidelines. “Now, further public worship will be allowed as per the government rules,” Thakur said.
