A delegation of the Billing Paragliding Association, led by president Anurag Sharma, met Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday.

The delegation expressed gratitude to the CM for the state government’s support in ensuring the successful organisation of the Paragliding World Cup held at Bir-Billing in Kangra district in November this year.

On the occasion, the delegation honoured the CM by presenting a Himachali cap, shawl and souvenir as a token of appreciation.

The CM congratulated Ranjit Kumar, a resident of Bir, for securing the second position at Paragliding World Cup.

He said it was a matter of immense pride that the youth of the state were excelling in diverse fields.

Association office-bearers Suresh Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Ranjit Chamel, Hardev Thakur and Shailabh Awasthi were among those present at the event.
