BJP appoints coordinators for Foundation Day celebrations
State party president Rajeev Bindal today announced the appointment of coordinators and co-coordinators for the preparations of various events to be organised during the celebration of BJP’s Foundation Day from April 6 to 13. He said that the party had appointed Trilok Kapoor, general secretary, as the state coordinator for all events.
Bindal, in a press statement issued here, said that BJP state vice-president Sanjeev Katwal would be the programme coordinator while BJP state secretary Sumit Kumar Sharma would be the co-coordinator for all events.
Similarly, the party appointed coordinators for various parliamentary constituencies, namely Daisy Thakur (Shimla), Rajesh Thakur (Hamirpur), Vinod Kumar (Mandi) and Rakesh Sharma (Kangra).
Bindal also announced the appointment of Bihari Lal Sharma, state general secretary, as the programme coordinator and Munish Chauhan, state secretary, as the co-coordinator for the upcoming events related to Dr BR Ambedkar’s Jayanti to be held from April 13 to 25.
The party appointed the in-charges of various parliamentary constituencies, namely Pawan Kajal (Kangra), Payal Vaidya (Mandi), Mahendra Dharmani (Hamirpur) and Rakesh Dogra (Shimla).
Bindal said that the party had decided to organise district-level events regarding the death of Vimal Negi, Chief Engineer of HPPCL.
He said that district coordinators had also been appointed for all programmes. The district coordinators are Satpal Singh Satti (Una), Vipin Parmar (Palampur), Sukhram Chaudhary (Sirmaur), Govind Thakur (Kullu), Pawan Kajal (Kangra), Rakesh Pathania (Nurpur), Rajeev Saizal (Solan), Rakesh Jamwal (Sundernagar), Inder Singh Gandhi (Mandi), Trilok Jamwal (Bilaspur), Balbir Verma (Mahasu), DS Thakur (Chamba), Sanjay Sood (Shimla), Ashish Sharma (Hamirpur), Hoshiyar Singh (Dehra), Surat Negi (Kinnaur) and Ravi Thakur (Lahaul and Spiti).
