He said his government had left no stone unturned for the welfare of people and development of the state. Leaders of the Opposition had started dreaming of power but they should remember that the BJP had repeated governments in four states recently and now it would be Himachal Pradesh’s turn.

Recounting the election trend of his constituency Seraj, Thakur said the constituency was Congress-dominated and he lost his first election in 1993.

He won first time in 1998 and since then there was no looking back. It was due to the blessings of people and sincerity towards responsibilities that led to his five continuous victories in the constituency.

What was done in Seraj would now be reflected in the state, he added.
