Shimla Lok Sabha MP Suresh Kashyap led the padyatra from Dhalli to The Ridge and Chaura Maidan
The BJP organised a Unity March in Shimla on Wednesday to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Shimla Lok Sabha MP Suresh Kashyap led the march, accompanied by BJP workers and senior leaders as they walked from Dhalli to The Ridge and Chaura Maidan. Former MP Suresh Chandel and former Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj also joined the march.
Kashyap said, “Sardar Patel laid the foundation of modern India with his vision, strong will and indomitable courage. Today, India has emerged as a global power under the dynamic and strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
He said that the Central Government had taken historic measures to strengthen national unity, bolster border security and enhance India’s global standing. “Every citizen is moving ahead with the resolve to make India a fully developed nation by 2047. The enthusiastic participation of the youth shows that India’s future is in the safe and strong hands of Modi,” he added.
Kashyap said that initiatives such as the My India Campaign and the Unity March were nurturing patriotism, discipline and social responsibility among young people.
