Bindal said that the drug, forest, transfer, scrap and mining mafias were flourishing under the patronage of the state government. “The Congress has been in power for two and a half years and every section of people are totally disappointed with it for not fulfilling any of the election guarantees,” he added. He alleged that the government had failed to create one lakh jobs every year, disappointing the unemployed youth.

Thakur said, “The Congress has been ruling the state for more than two years but most of the claims made by its government are false.” He added that though the BJP legislators were raising all these issue in the Assembly, the BJP would now stage a protest outside the House on March 27.

The Leader of the Opposition said that employees were not getting salaries while pensioners were not getting pension and the social security pension had also not been disbursed. “No money is being released under the MLA Priority Fund being recommended by the legislators. Directions have been issued to the treasury not to release more than Rs 10,000 under the MLA Priority Fund," he alleged.
