Blue Star Industry celebrates women’s day
Blue Star Industry, located in Kala Amb, Sirmaur district, celebrated International Women’s Day with enthusiasm, recognising the contributions of its women associates. The event, held on the company’s premises, featured an inspiring address by Nahan SDM Rajeev Kumar Sankhyan.
In his speech, Sankhyan highlighted the government’s initiatives for women’s empowerment, emphasising various welfare schemes aimed at improving education, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women. He also underscored the importance of gender equality in the workplace, noting how inclusive environments lead to stronger, more productive organisations. Additionally, he shared motivational stories of women who have overcome challenges to achieve remarkable success, stressing their pivotal role in family and community development.
Following Sankhyan’s address, Virender Singh Chandel, the HR head at Blue Star Kala Amb, affirmed the company’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. He acknowledged the dedication of the female employees and reiterated the organisation’s focus on equal opportunities and professional growth.
