A boy reportedly threw acid on three girls when they were going to Government Senior Secondary School in Tauni Devi block today. They were rushed to the government hospital at Tauni Devi where their condition is reported to be stable. One of the girls received some burns on the face. SP Arjit Sen Thakur said a case had been registered and investigation was under way. The girls are taking matriculation examinations.
