BRCC interviews from May 26

The interview and teaching skill assessment process for the Block Resource Centre Coordinator (BRCC) posts under Samagra Shiksha will start from May 26, and will be conducted in the office of State Project Director and Additional Director (School Education), Samagra Shiksha, Shimla.

Candidates who have passed the written examination, held on April 6, are required to attend the interview with all their original certificates along with one photocopy of each certificate. Any error or incorrect information in the documents can lead to cancellation of selection and disciplinary action.

A total of 766 candidates applied for the 282 BRCC posts, out of which 584 appeared in the examination and 311 candidates have qualified the written test. The final merit list will be prepared after the completion of the interview and teaching skill assessment process.

This recruitment process is being conducted under new rules, which include reservation of 50 per cent posts for primary teachers and 25-25 per cent posts for TGT and lecturer cadre. The appointment period for BRCC posts has been increased to five years, and teachers appointed to these posts will not be eligible for the post again. BRCCs play a crucial role in implementing Samagra Shiksha programs at the block level, and their selection is based on written examination and interview.
