Shimla: A meeting of the district-level committee, under the chairmanship of Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, related to the Skill Development Allowance Scheme was held here on Friday. The DC said 41 centres have been approved under the scheme in Shimla district where students are pursuing education through various courses. He said it is very important to maintain the quality of education in these institutions and if any institution is working against the rules, then action should be taken. In the meeting, Saraswati Computer Centre, Chopal, was authorised under the Skill Development Allowance Scheme to provide training to 160 students through three courses. He also directed the concerned officials to conduct surprise inspections in all educational institutions to ensure that quality education is being imparted to the students. The meeting was conducted
