Kangra: Two persons were booked at Khundia and Nagrota Bagwan in the district on Monday for violation of home quarantine norms. Kangra SP Vimukut Ranjan said that Narveer Singh, a resident of Chilga village in Khundia tehsil, and Amit Kumar, a resident of Saroot in Badoh tehsil, were booked under the IPC and the Disaster Management Act for not obeying the home quarantine norms. Bharmour MLA distributes face masks

Bharmour: Local BJP MLA Jia Lal Kapoor on Monday distributed face masks to the residents of Kugti, one of the remotest and oldest villages of Bharmour tribal subdivision in Chamba district. Kapoor also made Kugti residents aware of the threat of coronavirus and the need to follow social distancing. OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
