BSc paper cancelled

The paper of B.Sc. Microbiology, titled Bioprocess Technology (common with Biotechnology 2nd year), scheduled to be held on April 21, has been cancelled due to administrative reasons. The new date for the paper will be notified in due course of time. The other contents of the date sheet will, however, remain unchanged.

Cultural fest at nursing College

A cultural fest marked the freshers’ party and oath-taking ceremony `Novato Fiesta’ at Shimla Nursing college. The programme was organised to welcome students of first year of M.Sc (N), PBSC (N), B.SC (N) and GNM students. Managing Director, Shimla Nursing College, Mohit Sood presided over the programme as the chief guest. Principal Dr Krishna Chauhan honoured and welcomed the chief guest and others. The programme commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by ‘Gayatri Manta ‘and dance on ‘Ganesh Vandana’. Various students put up dance performances such as Rajasthani, Bhangra, Gujarati solo dance, leaving the audience spellbound.

Head Girl, Boy elected

Ananya Kalia and Aryan Bakshi have been elected Head Girl and Head Boy, respectively, of Pinegrove School, Dharampur. Aayushman Singh Chandel and Srishti Chauhan were appointed Chinar House Prefects while Anahadhbir Singh and Karika Thakur have been entrusted the responsibility of Deodar House. Aditya Sharma and Samneet Dhillon have been given the opportunity to lead Oak House, while Rachit Bansal and Harsimran Kaur will be shouldering the responsibility of Teak House.
