Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today announced a bus service between Radha Krishna Temple in Baba Bal Ashram near Una city and Vrindavan in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. He was at the temple to pay obeisance during the 12-day-long annual religious festivities organised at the temple from February 1.

The Radha Krishna temple is located in the Baba Bal Ashram, having a formidable following. A branch of the ashram is also being run at Vrindavan where the followers travel frequently.

Agnihotri participated in the religious procession, holding the deity’s palanquin. He said Una district is home to many religious destinations, including Mata Chintpurni shrine, adding that these places of worship will be preserved and developed to cope up with the increasing number of devotees coming in to pay obeisance. He is also holds charge of the Art, Language and Culture department.
