A daily local bus service from Dulehar, a remote village in Haroli sub-division, to Una bus stand began today, benefitting the residents of 15 panchayats. The route is being operated by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), and aims at addressing the travel needs of employees, school and college students, besides others.
Regional Manager of the Una HRTC depot, Suresh Dhiman said that the bus service would start from Dulehar at 7.05 am and reach Una at 9.55 am. On its return journey, the bus will start from Una at 3.30 pm and reach Dulehar by 6.15 pm, adding that office-goers can also avail the morning bus service.
The bus will pass through Laluwal, Hira Nagar, Gondpur, Jhuggian, Singan, Bathu, Batt Kalan, Tahliwal, Nangal Khurd, Lalari, Chandpur, Palkwah and Haroli in Haroli sub-division, before reaching Rampur in Una city via the newly constructed Haroli to Rampur bridge over the Swan river.
