Capacity building event on pedagogy & learning outcomes at Dagshai
Pedagogy and learning outcomes were deliberately upon during a daylong capacity building programme at Army Public School, Dagshai, on Saturday. The event witnessed the participation of 52 teachers from various schools in the region, and aimed to enhance their teaching skills and strategies.
Resource persons Neha Kashyap and Neetu Jatta from Chandigarh discussed various teaching and learning pedagogies. They delved into how to effectively design learning outcomes based on bloom’s taxonomy and competency-based approaches.
The resource persons provided in-depth insights on how teachers could adopt different pedagogical strategies to engage students and enhance the learning experience.
They emphasised the importance of aligning teaching methods with clearly defined learning outcomes, and discussed how to use competency-based approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
The workshop also included interactive sessions, which encouraged teachers to participate in engaging activities. These activities allowed them to explore new and innovative ways of involving students in the classroom, fostering a positive and interactive learning environment.
Teachers left the session equipped with practical tools and strategies to implement in their classrooms, ensuring a more engaging and effective learning experience for their students.
