The Chamba administration has made significant strides in addressing public grievances during the Good Governance Week, resolving 71 out of 105 issues on the spot. The impressive feat was achieved through ten programmes conducted under the Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore initiative, led by respective SDMs across various sub-divisions of the Chamba district.
The programmes held in different sub-divisions yielded remarkable outcomes. For instance, in the Chamba sub-division, all 13 grievances raised were resolved immediately, while in Salooni, all 41 issues were addressed on the spot. Similarly, in Churah, seven out of 29 grievances were resolved, and in Dalhousie, one out of seven grievances was resolved.
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal emphasised the administration’s commitment to resolving public issues efficiently and keeping residents informed about various departmental schemes and services. A workshop was also held, chaired by Assistant Commissioner PP Singh, where officials from different departments shared their achievements and initiatives.
