Chamba college hosts workshop on research proposal writing
A two-day workshop, themed ‘How to Write a Research Proposal’, which is being organised by the Research Centre of Government Post-Graduate College, Chamba, began on Wednesday. The programme aims to guide students on the process and benefits of pursuing research.
The event was graced by Dr Bipin C Rathor, an educationist and former principal, as the chief guest. Dr Mohinder Slariya, Principal of Government College, was the keynote speaker and Dr Madan Guleria, Principal of Government College, Chamba, served as the patron.
Dr Madan Guleria emphasised the importance of research in a student’s academic journey and career. In the first session, keynote speaker Dr Slariya shared his experiences with the students, offering valuable insights into the structure and methodology of research proposals, which will greatly benefit students pursuing PhD studies in the future.
Dr Rathor also shared his extensive research experiences with the students, discussing various research projects he has undertaken throughout his career. His speech served as a great source of encouragement for aspiring researchers.
The event saw active participation from faculty members of the Research Centre, as well as other professors. A large number of postgraduate students attended the workshop and engaged in the discussions.
