Chamba DC stresses on quality education
Chamba Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal on Tuesday visited the Government Central Primary School, Jadera, to review the facilities and interacted with students about their education and extracurricular activities. During his visit, he emphasised the importance of quality education and encouraged students to focus on their studies to build a bright future.
Engaging with the students, the Deputy Commissioner asked questions related to various subjects and highlighted the need for improvement in English. He instructed the teachers to ensure a strong focus on educational quality and emphasised that students should develop an equal interest in all subjects. He also stressed the importance of retaining knowledge from previous classes while progressing to higher levels.
During the visit, Repaswal also inspected students’ notebooks and reviewed the availability of basic facilities at the school. He directed the concerned officials to resolve any existing issues.
Notably, the DC conducts school visits every Tuesday to assess institutions where special efforts are being made to enhance students’ education.
Deputy Director of Elementary Education, Balbir Singh, provided detailed information about the school during the visit. OSD (Education) Umakant Anand, District Science Supervisor Gaurav Vaid, school teachers, and local panchayat representatives were present among others.
