Chamba Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal, who is also the District Electoral Officer, on Saturday said voter lists of the district have been published for intensive revision. The process is being carried out under the directions of the Himachal Pradesh State Election Commission, with October 1, 2025, as the qualifying date.
As part of the exercise, voter lists of 308 gram panchayats, across seven development blocks of Chamba district, have been made available to the public for inspection, claims and objections starting October 6.
Copies of the voter lists are available for free inspection during office hours at the offices of the Deputy Commissioner, gram panchayats, panchayat samitis and the zila parishad.
Residents wishing to file corrections, claims or objections can do so by submitting them to the respective Block Development Officer either in person, through an authorised representative or by registered post.
